Academic journey and institutional role
Dr. Anton Louise De Ocampo embarked on his academic journey by earning his BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE) degree from De La Salle Lipa in 2007. Driven by his passion for advancing in the field, he pursued graduate studies at De La Salle University (DLSU), where he completed his Master of Science in 2016 and his PhD in 2020, both in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
Currently, Dr. De Ocampo serves as an Associate Professor III in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Batangas State University - The National Engineering University, where he also leads the Digital Transformation Center as its Head, spearheading initiatives in digital innovation and technological advancement.
His research expertise encompasses machine learning, image processing, and algorithm development with applications in environmental characterization. Dr. De Ocampo has contributed to numerous projects focusing on image processing and machine learning applications in smart agriculture, demonstrating his commitment to applying cutting-edge technology to solve real-world challenges.
